Biography Fai isn't even his true name. It's the name of his younger brother, whom he is filling in for at the academy. His real name is Yuui, but that he keeps locked inside, hidden behind a smile along with his true feelings. He is good at it, pretending to be happy and cheerful, pretending nothing bothers him, while he really is just looking for a place for himself, a meaning to his long life. He hasn't found it yet. But he likes people, enjoys being around them. It keeps him from thinking too much, keeps his hands moving and his mind busy. He is playful, he enjoys giving people he really likes nicknames. Even if he doesn't like someone, he is good at not letting it show unless he plans to do something about it. Then his sunny demeanour may give way to his icy powers and the colder personality underneath. What is real anymore? Which him? Does he even still know himself? If only he had someone to tell him, to see him for who he really is and remind him. IN-GAME HISTORY: Yuui is the grandson of Zeno Shoto through his mother and is related to the Aidou family through his paternal grandmother. He was born in a small northern European country where his parents and uncle still reside, but has been travelling the world because he wanted to see as much of it as possible, either with his twin brother Fai or without him. When they were children they used to be inseperable, so much so that their identies were linked to one another and they would swap names for fun. When Fai wouldn't take the position as a teacher at Cross Academy, Fai - who had grown tired of his long life at this point - decided to take his brother's place, hoping to maybe finally find a place he belonged and with it a new reason to live. And even if he didn't find that at the academy, it welcome a welcome distraction anyway.
